Anhedonia is an abstract art project that delves into the profound and complex emotions surrounding deep depression, burnout, and the exploration of human value in the modern world. The project aims to create a visceral and thought-provoking experience that invites viewers to reflect on their own emotions, experiences, and perceptions of self-worth in terms of productivity and helplessness.
Introduction to the Abyss: The first art piece explores the depths of emotional chaos and disorientation
Seeking Light: the narrative then shifts toward a gradual emergence from darkness, incorporating building blocks as a metaphor for the movement toward self-discovery and self-healing.
Reclaiming Human Worth: the final object is dedicated to the exploration and rediscovery of human value. This phase encourages viewers to engage with their own feelings of worth and to reflect on the societal pressures that contribute to feelings of inadequacy.
Reflection and Fragmentation: As the project progresses, fragmented objects emerge that reflect the fractured sense of self and erosion of values that often accompany depression and burnout.
